Meet Jenay, an executive therapist and holistic mental health expert dedicated to making work suck less. With over 15 years of experience, Jenay is dedicated to creating sustainable wellness models that foster cultures of caring within organizations.

 

Jenay recognizes that we are stronger together. She believes in the transformative power of connections and the importance of building a supportive network. Through her work, she encourages individuals to lean on their sisterhood and community for strength, resilience, and shared understanding.

 

Jenay believes that our internal compass guides us towards the right path and offers valuable insights in decision-making and personal growth. By leaning into intuition, Jenay hopes to encourage the Future is Zen collective to make choices aligned with their true selves.

Meet Kharena, an educator, innovator, and entrepreneur, whose influence can be felt across multiple school systems in Southeast Michigan. With a knack for project management, fostering partnerships, STEM education, and college access, Kharena is dedicated to uplifting youth who have been historically underserved.

 

Beyond her professional endeavors, Kharena's personal life is a testament to her holistic approach to well-being. As an avid yogi, she finds solace and strength on the mat, embracing the power of mind-body connection. Additionally, her role as a devoted mother to a toddler and committed wife brings her immense joy and fulfillment.

 

Rooted in her native Detroit, Kharena remains connected to her community, constantly seeking ways to make a positive impact in the lives of those around her. She firmly believes in the incredible power of sharing, as it has the ability to make others feel less alone. With a focus on advocating for fertility-challenged individuals of color, Kharena is determined to open up conversations and provide support where it's needed most.
